What we keep about you

This page is written in ordinary English, not legal language. Three minutes and you will know what KINKAY keeps, what it is used for, and who to message if you want it gone.

Last updated: 12 September 2026. Applies to kinkay.vn and all of its pages. This is the English version of Chính sách dữ liệu; if the two ever disagree, the Vietnamese version is the one that governs.

The most important thing, up front: since 12 September 2026 the booking form on this website does save your details into KINKAY’s own database — your name, the channel you pick to be answered on, and the phone number, email or Instagram handle that goes with it. Before that date the website saved nothing. Section 3 explains exactly what is stored and why this changed.

You can still skip the form entirely: message Kay directly on Zalo, Instagram or email. Details at the bottom of this page.

1. Who is responsible

KINKAY — a beauty atelier. Studio in Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The person responsible for your data is Kay, the owner of KINKAY. Phone and email are at the bottom of this page.

2. When you are just browsing

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, where they come from, and which pages they read. It records:

Google Analytics sets a cookie in your browser so that one person reading five pages is not counted as five people. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works normally either way.

KINKAY does not use advertising trackers (no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel) and does not sell visitor data to anyone.

3. When you fill in the booking form

The “Check my date” form appears on the home page and on the service pages. When you press send, the details go straight into KINKAY’s database.

Why this changed: before 12 September 2026 the form stored nothing — it simply opened Zalo so you could paste a message yourself. Anyone who did not paste was lost completely, and that did happen: people wrote in and Kay had no way to reach them back. So the form now asks for one contact channel and keeps it.

What the form stores:

What it is used for: so Kay can reply to you and hold your date. That is all. No bulk marketing, no sharing, no selling to anyone.

The database belongs to KINKAY alone and runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Only Kay and the website administrator can open it, and only after signing in. No third party can read it.

You do not have to leave anything on the website. Message Kay directly on Zalo, Instagram or email instead — the details are at the bottom of this page. The service you get is exactly the same.

4. When you use the wedding countdown tool

The wedding countdown page (Vietnamese) runs entirely inside your browser. The date you enter only ever lives in the link on your own device, so you can save it or send it to someone. It is not sent to a server and not stored by KINKAY.

If you tap “send the timeline to Kay via Zalo”, your browser copies the message to your clipboard and opens Zalo. You paste it and press send yourself — if you do not paste it, KINKAY never sees it.

5. When you sign up for a Masterclass

The form on the Masterclass page (Vietnamese) sends nothing anywhere. Pressing the button makes your browser assemble what you typed into a message, copy it to your clipboard, and open Kay’s Zalo. You paste it and press send yourself.

Which means: if you change your mind and do not paste it, KINKAY has no idea what you typed.

6. When you message Kay

From the moment you write on Zalo, Instagram, Facebook or email, Kay keeps what you choose to share, in order to actually work with you:

Used for: advising you, holding your date, preparing products that suit your skin, and contacting you if the schedule changes. Nothing else. Not used for bulk marketing, not shared with any third party.

Notes about your skin and cosmetic allergies are health information. You are not required to tell Kay anything, but if you do, she can choose safer products for you. Only Kay reads it.

Those messages live inside Zalo, Instagram, Facebook and Gmail. Each platform’s own privacy policy governs how they store it, and that part is outside KINKAY’s control.

7. Your photos in the portfolio

KINKAY takes photos and short clips while working, and uses them in the portfolio on this website and on social media.

8. How long it is kept

Details you send through the booking form sit in KINKAY’s database and follow the same timeframe below. If you ask for them to be deleted sooner, Kay deletes them, no reason needed.

Messages and booking details are kept while you are working with Kay and for up to 2 years after the last time, so they can be looked up if you come back or refer someone. Portfolio photos you have agreed to are kept until you ask for them to be removed. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months under Google’s default setting.

9. Where the data sits

The whole website runs over HTTPS, so information is encrypted in transit.

10. Your rights

The information is yours, not KINKAY’s. You can:

How: message Kay on Zalo or send an email to the address below, saying who you are and what you want. If you sent the booking form, include the phone number or email you entered so Kay can find the right record. Kay handles it within 3 working days and confirms back. No forms to fill in, no documents needed.

11. Children

KINKAY’s website and services are for people aged 16 and over. Clients under 16 need a parent or guardian to make the booking and give consent on their behalf.

12. When this changes

If this policy is revised, the date at the top of the page changes with it. For significant changes, Kay tells clients with an active booking directly.
