On-Camera Makeup for Corporate Video in Saigon

On-Camera Makeup for Corporate Video in Saigon

A corporate video is the one place where skipping makeup costs you money twice. You pay a crew for the day, and then the founder reads shiny and tired on a 4K sensor, and the edit cannot fix it.

This page is for producers, in-house marketing teams and PR agencies shooting in Ho Chi Minh City: brand films, founder interviews, training content, product demos, press conferences and recruitment videos.

Camera makeup is a different job from party makeup

Three things change once a camera is pointed at someone.

Shine is the enemy, not colour. Studio lights and LED panels turn an ordinary forehead into a hotspot. The base has to be mattified in the right places and left alone in others, so the face still reads as skin rather than paint.

The camera flattens. What looks like a defined face in a mirror goes flat on a sensor. Contour and brow are built for the lens, not for the room.

It has to hold for the whole call sheet. A shoot runs eight hours in Saigon humidity. Kay stays reachable through the day for touch-ups between setups, or stays on set for the full day as an added service.

Who on your call sheet actually needs it

How long to budget

Allow 45 to 60 minutes per person for a camera look, and 90 to 120 minutes if the same person also needs a full event look later the same day.

KINKAY can put up to four makeup artists and two hair stylists on one booking, so a morning of back-to-back interviews does not become the bottleneck in your schedule. Send the call sheet and Kay works backwards from the first slate.

Prices

Service Price (VND)
On-camera makeup and hair, per person 1,800,000
Makeup and hair, men 1,200,000
An artist stays on set all day for touch-ups + 3,500,000
Business headshots on the same day, per person 1,800,000

There is no cap on headcount and no minimum. A panel of six is six times 1,800,000. Hair is included in every price and is not sold on its own. Travel inside Ho Chi Minh City is in the price; outside the city is quoted as one total before you confirm.

The full list is on the English price list, and the service page is corporate and brand events.

What to send when you book

  1. The shoot date, the location and the call time.
  2. How many people are on camera, split by men and women.
  3. Whether it is interview, presenter, product demo or event coverage.
  4. Whether anyone needs a second look later in the day.
  5. One contact who will be on set.

Booking and paperwork

A 30% deposit by bank transfer holds the date, and the balance is paid on the day.

Kay works as an independent artist rather than a registered company, so there is no VAT invoice and no receipt. The Booking Confirmation is the document: it carries a reference number, the service, the date and the amount, and it is reissued marked as paid once you have settled. If your finance team requires a VAT invoice, say so before you confirm rather than on shoot day.

Working in English

Kay and the team work in English, which matters on a set where the director, the client and the talent may not share a first language. Kay has worked backstage at Miss Cosmo International, Miss Grand Vietnam and Hoa Hậu Việt Nam, and on runway shows for Đỗ Long and Adrian Anh Tuấn, so a call sheet and a running order are familiar ground.

Send the date, the call time and the headcount, and a quote comes back the same day.

Want a look like this for your event? Tell Kay the date and the occasion. She replies within the day.
