How much is a 1:1 makeup class in Ho Chi Minh City?
The KINKAY Signature Masterclass is 8,000,000 VND. It is five one-to-one sessions of two to three hours, taught by Kay at the KINKAY studio in Ho Chi Minh City or online by video call. It covers skin preparation, base, eyes, brows, lips and KINKAY’s signature look. You practise on your own face, not on a model, and there is no group class.
Students outside Vietnam learn online at the same price, on a schedule set around their time zone. At the studio, the class cosmetics are used throughout the course, so you test products before buying any of them. A 30% deposit holds the place. Refer the next student and 3,000,000 VND comes back to you.

She watches your face on camera and corrects each step as you go. The one difference is cosmetics: at the studio you use the class kit throughout, so online students get a product list to buy from first.
Yes. Kay works regularly with international clients and teaches in English. For a long or technical explanation she may use a translator, which has not been a problem in practice — most of the course is demonstration and correction on your own face rather than lecture.
Yes, and most students start there. The course is one-to-one, so it moves at your pace and starts at your level rather than a syllabus’ level. How far you get also depends on practising between sessions; the hand only improves with repetition.
No. You practise on your own face for the whole course. This is a class for doing your own makeup well, not a professional artist’s training programme, so every technique is taught against your features, your eye shape and your skin.
